DIATOMAECOUS EARTH

All livestock—horses, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, and others—will benefit from Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth. Some of its benefits include stimulating basic metabolism; converting feed better; reducing odour and moisture in barns and stalls; improving coat and hoof condition; keeping fly larvae from developing in manure, noticeably reducing the fly population; lowering annual vet bills; killing worms and internal parasites without chemicals; promoting healthier egg production and stronger eggs; and reducing overall animal stress.

Diatomaceous earth, also know as fossil shell flour comes from an extremely pure fresh water deposit of the diatom Melosira Preicelanica . Why is this diatom so special? Its shell is made of amorphous silica .Its shape and hardness are important to how it works. Its hardness keeps it from dissolving in liquid. The holes along the diatom's wall allow it to absorb moisture. Fresh water deposits likes ours has a consistent diatom presence. Their fossilized shells have maintained their tubular shape. This shape and strength of the fossil shell is critical to its effectiveness. Our deposits have 89 -95 percent amorphous silica content. Our deposit is more consistent in purity of other elements that have settled in it. Salt water deposits contain a mix of types of diatoms of different shapes. Their fossilized shells are fragile and break easily. This renders them ineffective for our purposes. The salt water deposits are less predictable in their sediments.

We need not become confused with amorphous and Crystalline Silica. Amorphous silica is silica in its naturally occurring state. It is a trace mineral every mammal on the planet needs to gain full health. It becomes crystalline when it is exposed to extreme heat through volcanic activity or commercial manufacturing means. eg the type diatomaceous earth used in swimming pools and other filtration systems is crystalline silica. Crystalline silica is extremely dangerous when inhaled or ingested and it i not biodegradable.

TESTOMONIALS

My 10 yr old cat has inflammatorily bowl disease. After spending $1000 with our vet he was still very sick looking ,skinny and coughing up huge hair balls. He couldn't keep any of his food down. I started feeding him fossil shell, 1/2 teaspoon daily and noticed a difference within a few days. He was no longer coughing up hair balls and no longer sick. He is allot happier and very playful which he has never been.  1 month later he has put on weight and his coat looks great. My horses have never been able to move so freely as they have been since they have been on the fossil shell and it even got my two old foundered ponies running around the paddock and happy again (after not being able to take a few steps) within about 3 days

HUMAN USE

I am a 63 yr old man and have suffered from arthritis in my elbows for the past 20 yrs I have never been able to completely straighten my arms or reach over my head. My daughter got me to start taking  fossil shell. In less than one week I noticed a huge difference,  i could straighten my arms completely and reach over my head and have been pain free. My  wife also had bad hip pain, so I started her on the fossil shell  and her hip pain has gone. I also have my dogs on it now  and they are looking healthier than ever.

HUMAN USE

I started taking fossil shell as i am a surfer and my body would ache and pain and my shoulder would occasionally pop out. I have since been pain free and have had more energy and my shoulder hasn't been a problem. I take 1 tablespoon daily mixed with cordial or fruit juice

DAIRY CATTLE

I started using Fossil shell about 3 weeks ago and the cows are loving it in the bails I have noticed there have been no flies around as it also kills the fly larvae in the manure. The cows tests are up and so is their milk. I  have noticed that the manure and urine doesn't smell bad like it used to, actually it almost has no smell I  am hoping to do a worm count and get the cows off chemical worming altogether.

HORSES AND HUMAN USE

Six weeks ago I started using fossil flour a natural form of silica.  I have got both the horses,

mum and myself taking it,  It has made a huge difference with Honey's arthritis, when she used to raise from sleeping she would stand and pour the ground to get her leg working, this no longer happens.  When Honey goes out for a ride she will generally hobble for a while, this has stopped. Generally light exercise will cripple her for a few days, her last two outings where she has had some trot and canters she has hardly shown any soreness.

For myself, my ankles are heaps better, I can have a good ride and dismount without worry about being able to stand when I get to the ground, normally I need to drop my stirrups ten minutes before home and start working my ankles. My bad thumb is feeling better also.

Mum has said her feet appear  better but her hands certainly feel allot freer.
